Enoch Showunmi signs for leeds
Enoch Showunmi has signed for Leeds utd and become Gary McAllister’s third signing.
The 26-year-old striker has penned a two-year contract with the club after departing Bristol City and the striker spoke straight away about how happy he was to be at the club.
“When you look around it’s a brilliant set-up,”
said the striker.
“I’m delighted to be here. You only have to look at this club with its history and its fanbase to see how big it is.”
“I’m raring to go and I’m looking forward to pre-season and playing games.”
The Nigerian international striker nearly signed for Leeds last January but instead joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan until the end of the season.
Showunmi scored 18 goals in 61 appearances for Bristol City and was a member of Luton Town side which won back-to-back promotions from League Two to the Coca-Cola Championship.
